Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue this afternoon. Non thunderstorm winds should be light. But locally higher wind gusts over 30 knots will be possible in the vicinity of thunderstorms. Otherwise, a drier and hotter pattern takes hold Tuesday and beyond.
